pesta karnival tahun baru cina 2006
I went to the 峇株巴辖华团农历新年嘉年华会 (Pesta Karnival Tahun Baru Cina Batu Pahat) just now...
It was held in the stadium and the theme this year is 灵犬接福庆丰年...
The fiesta started at 7.30pm but I reached there at about 8.30pm due to a heavy rain...
And because I went there so late, I've missed the 舞狮 and 舞龙 performances...
At the time I reached there, Minister of Health Malaysia, Yang Berhormat Dato' Dr. Chua Soi Lek is delivering his speech...

The fiesta was not very success because is being disrupted by the heavy rain...
From 7.30pm until 10.30pm, it rains about 4 or 5 times and the fiesta has to stop for a while and continue again after rain
Most of us ran to shelters and some of us opened our umbrella when it rains so heavily during the fiesta
I didn't bring my umbrella there, so I ran to the shelter...
In the shelter, 新加兰青团运、马青醒狮团 (pemuda MCA bagan) and 三春华南学校醒狮团 keep playing their drum and other instruments...
I was standing beside the 马青醒狮团 (with the distance of less than 1 meter!!) and this is the first time I stand so near to those drum players
While they are playing their instruments, I managed to take some pictures

I did not manage to take a picture of the orange colour 舞狮 of the 马青醒狮团 which I like the most
The fiesta ended with a 5-minute fireworks
I manage to take a picture of it

However, at that time, my phone's memory was full
So I just went home with only these 4 pictures~
